Upper left block is a standard block used on pallets today

Next block to the right in the upper row is a low adhesive  

     composite block, very weak

All of the rest of the blocks are made with additional 

     adhesive or a specific bonding agent, very strong

The blocks with the added adhesive or bonding agent are 

     stronger than the existing wood block, lighter and less 

     expensive
